SSC CGL 2024: Just as lakhs of youth across the country prepare for the UPSC exam, similarly a large number of candidates also prepare for the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) exam. This exam is conducted for recruitment to various posts in various government departments.

SSC CGL exam is conducted in two stages and each stage has its own syllabus. This exam is conducted once a year. Recently applications were invited for the recruitment examination. The date of which has also been revealed now. SSC CGL Exam 2024 will be conducted from 9 September to 26 September. Through this examination, recruitment will be done on 17727 vacant posts. These recruitments will be done on Group B and C posts in government departments under the Central Government.

These questions will be asked in Tier I exam

Talking about Tier I exam, candidates are asked questions related to General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language. 25 questions from each section i.e. a total of 100 questions are asked in the exam. Talking about total marks, the exam is of 200 marks. There is negative marking for wrong answers. While the exam is for a total time period of one hour. The exam is conducted in CBT mode. Candidates who pass the exam appear in Tier II exam.

What will be asked in Tier II exam?

There will be two papers in Tier II exam. Two sessions will be conducted in Paper 1. Module One of Session One will test mathematical ability and reasoning and general intelligence. Both these exams will be for a total of 180 marks. 30 questions each will be asked in the exam. After one hour, Session 2 paper will be conducted. In this, questions related to English language and comprehension and general awareness will be asked. 45 questions will be asked from English and 25 questions from General Intelligence.

In session 3 of paper 1 of Tier II exam, questions related to computer knowledge and data entry will be asked. 20 questions will be asked from computer. Whereas in paper 2 of Tier II, questions related to statistics will be asked. Candidates will get 2 hours to solve this paper.
